I am. Having grown up in Ukraine and having moved a few countries since year 2000, I’ve discovered yoga in Dublin, Ireland in 2013 and it felt like it was the missing piece of puzzle in my life, gluing everything together, making me breathe, feel and think in a different new way.
I do. I was lucky enough to have been taught YOGA in some of the best studios in Dublin, Ireland. I’ve started off with an intimate studio just outside of Dublin – Durga Ireland where I’ve been a student for a few years and where I did my teacher training in 2015. Then about two years at two of the very best yoga studios in Dublin: Hot Yoga Dublin & Yoga Next Door and Boss Hot Yoga Dublin.
For you. Vinyasa is a dynamic class where each pose flows fluidly into the next in a creative flow style, cues are given with an emphasis on correct alignment and safety of the practitioner. Different sequences ensure that every single class is unique and fun. Each class contains a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens muscles while calming the mind and reducing stress. If you are looking for a moving meditation class, where you completely switch off from your day and from your life for an hour or so, this is the class for you.
At Yogatrainer I teach mixed level vinyasa flow classes which means that all of my classes are open to anyone, but everyone is working at their own level. You will be given plenty of options to modify your pose or make it more challenging. All you have to do is be mindful and respect your own limitations.
All the classes are quite intense (prepare to sweat), with lots of funky transitions, arm balances and other advanced poses, most of which are completely optional. Don’t worry though, you won’t get bored just sitting out while everyone else is lifting into Eka Pada Galavasana! You’ll always have an alternative or a prep step to do which will eventually prepare you for more advanced poses.
